Mission Statement
Deborah's Dream Inc. is a nonprofit organization. We exist to provide a joyful experience for kids and young adults in the midst of battling their chronic, life-threatening illness or injury, and to give support and encouragement to the families of any child that is hospitalized.

Hi! My name is Deborah Ann and I am the girl with a dream. At 19 years old I was diagnosed with Lupus. Lupus is an autoimmune disease. Since my diagnosis I have had numerous doctor appointment/hospital visits, multiple surgeries, and an ongoing list of medication to better my quality of life. Imagine being 21 years old or younger, and the hospital is the setting of your childhood, teen years, or the start of your adult life. There are many children who need a reminder that they are deserving of a joyful childhood despite their chronic or life-threatening illness/injury. I started Deborah’s Dream to provide hope for those children. “No act of love will change a diagnosis, but every act of love will affect the journey through it.”
